Videos Galore!

I almost had a complete moment of panic last night when I went to write this blog. We keep all of our best pictures and all videos in Dropbox. I had been in the app on my phone all day yesterday updating and when I went to get on last night on the computer... there was nothing there! NOTHING. I was so relieved just now that everything is okay now. You never know what you are going to get with technology.

Here ya go!

watering Nana's plants
let's go, yankees
walking on daddy
making mommy dance
that's a mouthful
rain-shower

Those are all the ones from my phone. Hopefully, Matt updates his soon and I will have more to share.
Have a great weekend!

Camping!

We took Christopher on his first camping trip this weekend! Our neighbors have an awesome camper and invited us along for the weekend. It's almost like "glamping" because we had a bed, a bathroom, an oven, the works. BUT to ensure that Christopher got the full camping effect, I did bathe him in the bathhouse.  :)

I am going to use the pictures to tell the story of his trip!

Christopher got his first fishing pole. It is one of those with the fish that is attached at the end. He had a great time at the campsite pressing the button to make the line go down and then reeling it back up!

Matt showing Christopher how to get it to work.

Oh, it's dark out? You want me to go to sleep? Christopher was beyond excited about everything going on. His little body just couldn't settle down and he wanted to see what was going on with everyone and everything. Tiffany finally got him to sleep by bouncing him in front of the bathhouse so he could stare off at it and fall asleep.

Relaxing with daddy.

Up bright and early to fish for rocks!

God forbid we go anywhere without bananas!

We had this great breakfast- eggs, bacon, english muffins... and what did Christopher want? More fruit.

Christopher was in charge of filling the little cooler with ice for our trip to the beach.

Getting to test out his pole in the water.

We came back for lunch and the boys had watermelon for dessert! Yum!!
Matt fished and Christopher threw rocks in the lake for about an hour. Both boys were happy.

Did you think we would leave Woody at home?!?!? I had packed Woody and Buzz but someone took Buzz out and he was left hanging in the basketball hoop when we left.

Christopher's hair is sooooo curly right now!!! I was looking at pictures of his hair from before his first haircut when his hair was longer and there were no curls- it's crazy curly right now! He is getting a haircut tonight so those curls will be gone soon!

All in all Christopher had a great time camping! He was so good- we just need him to figure out the whole sleeping thing for next time! :)

And some random shots from the past few days...

Oh wait. See he does sleep.

Working out with mommy. Christopher likes to pick up that ball. He also likes to push it back and forth to Eddie and he hugs it when it comes to him and when he rolls to Eddie, he says "Eddie-hug."

Passed out after a long afternoon at the pool.

And some daycare pics...
Ms. Jeanne got some real hoops put up for the kids to play basketball at. They love it!

Like there aren't 4 other lawn mowers....

Christopher loves to swing! :)

Hey girl. You wanna ride?!?!

Christopher is attending Vacation Bible School this week. Last night was his first night. He was so cute following all the bigger kids around. He is definitely the youngest but there are a couple of 3 year olds. I followed him around last night and peered through the windows. Tonight, though, I am dropping him off like every other parent..... maybe.

Have a great week.

Random Shots

Just some random shots from our weekend! We spent some time at Granddaddy's park after dinner Friday evening, partied it up with Luke on Saturday and spent this rainy Sunday at church and relaxing! It was a great weekend.

Just cheesing it up before leaving for school on Friday.

Walking back to Granddaddy's from the park. Ever since Disney when we told Christopher to hold Daddy's ears- this is how he rides.

Waiting for mommy so that we could swing at the same time. We are trying to teach Christopher to pump his legs so that he can swing himself.

We went out to dinner Saturday night and left Christopher home with Granddaddy. This is how he fell asleep while we were gone- no bath, no dinner, no jammies- but asleep nonetheless. That was until we got home at midnight and Christopher decided to be wide awake wanting his soup and a bath.... for almost 3 hours.

Playing with the top with Granddaddy.

Christopher fell asleep on the way home from church today and slept on my bed for over 3 hours. (Makes up for the missing sleep from the night before!) Finally, at 4:15 we decided to wake him up. This could explain why he has been in bed for 30 minutes now and I can still see his little eyes blinking.

Christopher went to his friend Luke's birthday on Saturday and carried around both of his Buzz toys most of the time. I found this little guy for him at Target and honestly, I have never heard him say thank you so many times. To be exact- "Mommy, hug." He comes over to hug me and says "Tang ting, Mommy. Tang ting. Hug, Mommy, tang ting." He can't really say thank you. It's kinda awkward when he gets something from someone, like the cookie lady at Publix and he says "tang ting" and I have to explain that it's thank you. I am sure Matt and I don't help it any that we tend to say it to him in conversation because it sounds so cute.

So we started the Citrus Lane boxes back in January and they are so hit and miss. I was not that impressed with this month's box. Christopher got this roller, which maybe will be fun in the sand and the Parthenon building for a sandcastle toy. Random right? He did get a painting book which looks like it might be fun.

Anyway! Last week of school!!!!! So very exciting!
Have a great week!
Be kind.

What Are You Doing?

Christopher- What are you doing, mommy?
Mommy- Nothing much. Just holding you.
Christopher (1 second later)- What are you doing, mommy?
Mommy- Just answering the same question you asked me.
Christopher (1 second later)- What are you doing, mommy?
Mommy- Wondering how many times you are going to ask me this question.
Christopher (1 second later)- What are you doing, mommy?
Mommy- Thinking about how many different ways I can answer you.

And it goes on and on. At one point Matt informed me that I should just stop answering, but then he might stop asking me questions, so I continue to answer.

We have been super busy here- wrapping up the school year for me and moving Granddaddy down here! Nana is still in Virginia Beach, but dad moved down here about a week ago. He is currently living with us while his house is getting painted and until his furniture arrives next week. Christopher has been loving having him around and so have I! It is so nice to have someone at home when we get home from school. Normally it's just me and Christopher wandering around aimlessly waiting on Matt, but now we have someone else to play with!

Here are the last couple of weeks in pictures! (I have noticed that I have really been slacking on the picture taking lately. Thankfully it's almost summer and I think last summer I blogged like every other day with the random things Christopher and I were doing, so I will get better at the pictures again soon!)

Christopher likes to clean other people's faces before he cleans his own... and sometimes after he does his own as well.

I had posted a final picture of the boys on Facebook but here a couple of my favorite that didn't make the Facebook cut.

Granddaddy and Christopher have been loving playing in the tunnel.

We spent some of Mother's Day out back enjoying the sunshine. We also went over to Granddaddy's neighborhood and played at the park there.

Just trying to even out the tan. One of my friends told me last year- "Angie, lose the SPF shirts on him. He's Italian! Let him get some sun." I did notice that Christopher's hands were quite tan the other day. I told him "You're welcome. You'll thank me one day."

Christopher seems to love himself a good belt... or necklace.. or even bracelets.

Christopher made me a visor at the church nursery on Sunday.

We took Granddaddy to our Friday night dinner spot- Guston's. Christopher devours their grilled cheese.

We went to the lake one day with our friends. Christopher had a blast and Mommy and Daddy had a blast because we didn't have to chase him around like at the pool! Relaxation.

Our neighbors were moving- I jokingly said I will give you $5 for the clubhouse- and they accepted! Christopher was so excited. Matt was washing his car so Christopher decided his house needed to be washed too!

Look at all those suds...

Helping daddy. Not really, but it is a super cute picture!

(I couldn't seem to keep my mouth shut long enough to get a decent picture.)
Tiff and I did the Susan G Komen 5k Mother's Day weekend. What a great cause and what a great weekend to do it! :) Christopher won't get to meet his Grandma Alice because of breast cancer, so when Tiffany asked me to do it, I certainly couldn't say no! Hopefully they raised lots of money and we will get to do it again next year!

I am certain Mom is beyond jealous of all the time Dad is spending with Christopher. She is coming next week for a few days... and Matt heads to the Dominican Republic. So jealous... but you can't exactly take off the last 4 days of school....

Have a great end to your week!
Be kind.

Family Post

Dad always used to say "the family that ____ together, stays together" and he would fill it in with whatever he wanted us to do... prays together, eats together, laughs together, throws together, etc. Well, today, the family that runs together, stays together!

I am titling this Family Post because I am including some fun videos and pictures of Uncle Anthony's Tough Mudder. We had out 5K and Tot Trot this morning and then spent the rest of the day watching him run and do obstacles.... okay, maybe 5 minutes watching him and 3 hours waiting around for him in the scorching sun. :) But it was definitely worth it!

Enjoy the pictures!
Christopher got some new running shoes! Well, in all honesty, he just needed a light colored pair of tennis shoes for summer, but they shall double as his running shoes...  :)

After we all got done! Thank you Eddie for pushing Christopher so that Matt and I could run!

Matt and I placed first in our age divisions! (There weren't that many people there... I think we should find all the races like that. I like winning medals. I never would have thought at 32 I would win anything.... especially anything for running!)

Eddie and Christopher running to the finish line!

We got to see Anthony at an obstacle. I thought he would be all business but he seemed excited to see us and came over to chat!

Stepping in to the Funky Monkey.

I love his knee socks!

Waiting for Uncle Anthony to get to the last obstacle!!! We waited... and waited... and finally he came!

Anthony at the end of Family Feud I tried to throw these red buoys at him to knock him off but he didn't budge.
Christopher in the Tot Trot I think he took third. The two older boys won... but Christopher was the only one who went down in the ready position when they said "on your mark..."

And that's it! What a Saturday. I am spent and heading to BED. I offered Christopher $100 if he slept til 8 tomorrow. I guess we will see if he understands the concept of money yet.

 Have a great Sunday!
