What is Wrong With These People?!?!?! Guest blogger!

I got woken up Monday morning by mom and dad. They NEVER wake me up. I prefer to be the one doing the waking... and they changed me and fed me and ... took me to DAYCARE!!! My daily record sheet said that I was mega-awesome, as if I would be anything else! I loved looking at all of the other children, watching them play and being held by Ms. Jeanne. I show mommy how much I like her by smiling at her bunches when mommy comes to pick me up. I think that makes mommy feel better about working! I have been good all week at daycare... taking some really good naps and never pooping. I like to save that for mommy when we are home together.

I can now roll over. Some of you saw mommy's facebook post announcing this.  Thank god you all calmed her down.  See how nice and peaceful I look in this picture. Well mom thought I was too peaceful so she came in and talked really loud and grabbed my arm and threw me around to make sure I was breathing. Thankfully I can go back to sleep pretty easily at night.

Here I am with Nana. I miss her. I am wearing my Yankees hat for Granddaddy who came in town on Tuesday to take Nana home. I blame him for her leaving.

I thought I liked that monkey that Mr. Alan gave me, except that monkey barks when Uncle Anthony is holding me. It is quite scary. I showed how scared I was by screaming extremely loud so that Uncle Anthony would give me back to my mommy!

Thank god my feet are praying here. Mommy and I were having such a great afternoon together.... until she took me downstairs. We were laying on the blanket playing my favorite block when I choked on some of my spit up (which is way weird because I don't normally spit up.) I was scared shitless and I think mom was too. She patted me on the back and was briskly walking around the house. I am not quite sure where she was walking too.  I started sneezing like crazy too! It was all milky. Totally like nothing I have sneezed before. I kept thinking... she better not have given me a cold by making me get on that plane with all those germs! I am all better now, in fact I was all better long before mom was! I was kinda excited though because mom made dad come home from work early that day!!! :) :)

On the road again. I swear what is wrong with these people??? They take me everywhere. I heard mom tell dad that we aren't traveling anywhere again for a long time. I am kinda relieved. As much as I like seeing and meeting all these new people... I really like just playing at home with my mommy and daddy!

 

Here is where Patrick and Lauren got married! In fact I think this is where mommy and I stood. I wanted to be rocked during the beautiful ceremony.

And here I am with Cousin Patrick. I wasn't too sure if I wanted him to hold me. I overheard him say... "What do I do?" when mommy asked him to take a picture with me. I sat extra still just to make sure I was safe! :)

Talk about beautiful ladies! You should have seen the legs walking around this wedding! These are two of my cousins though so I won't say anything about them, but Patrick has some cute lady friends!

But this bar had a really cool bathroom. Mommy snuck in so that we could see it! It even had a shoeshine area!

 

Mommy asked for a crib for the hotel room. THIS IS NOT A CRIB! I expressed my dislike for this pack and play by pooping at night. I never do that because I don't want to take the chance of sitting in it all night. I was up like every hour trying to get mommy to put me in her bed. Daddy kept patting my butt and I did fall back asleep but around 4:30 I had had enough butt patting and got what I wanted!

These fools (again what is wrong with these people???) thought I could sit up. Mommy sat me up without any pillows and GIGGLED when I fell backwards. It was kinda fun I must admit. :) Thankfully she put me up with pillows this time!

But I fell over once again!

Mommy bought me this shirt just for Big Daddy! It says Grandpa's Little Buckaroo- Big Daddy likes cowboy hats and rodeos so of course he loved me in it!

 

Let's go people! I am ready to get home and play in my exersaucer!!!

Travel Much?

I went back to school on Monday, so the Sunday before we had a little family picnic bonding time outside. It was a beautiful day so we took out Christopher's seat (yes I know about the recall, but come on people.... how stupid can you be???) and played on the blanket.  We had just the right amount of shade out there for us to sit. I wish I could figure out why Christopher is looking at Matt this way- maybe he was trying to sing to him.

Someone turned 4 months this week! Friday actually. So here is his 4 month shot.  We flew out on Friday so we had to cheat and take this on Thursday before we went to the doctor's for his well check up.  Isn't he geting so big? I barely have to prop him up in the corner anymore!

Here we are on the way home from the doctor's office.  Christopher got 4 shots and a liquid one in the mouth.  It was the same shots as last time, except last time 3 of those were combined... apparently there is a shortage of the combo- so we had 4 pricks this time! I hope I remember his stats right... 15 pounds 10 ounces and 25 and a half inches long.

And our adventure begins!! We headed to West Virginia this weekend to see Michelle and Eric get married! Navigating through the airport was a little different this time. Matt and I are pretty much experts with the ATL airport and know exactly what to do- it was a little different this time taking the elevators everywhere! Christopher got to ride on the "plane train" that took us to our concourse. His eyes got pretty big when it took off!

Christopher was such a good plane rider! He was a little tired at the beginning and whined to get settled down before the plane took off.  We gave him his bottle during takeoff and he passed right out for the ride.  He did wake up with about 20 minutes left and was just looking around and staring at everyone! We definitely hit some turbulence during the descent- Thank god I had handed him off to my mom because I had one hand on Matt, one on my mom and my head on Christopher's.

We spent the night in Pittsburgh. Christopher has his travel infant bed, which you may remember from our beach trip hotel stay.  We took it with us and decided after this night that he had outgrown it.  He likes to move way too much to be confined to that thing! As soon as he woke up, I put him in bed with us.

And here we are waiting for the wedding to start. Christopher slept the whole time we waited and through the first part.  Once the priest started talking... so did Christopher so I took him outside. I am sure he would have been fine, but I was just too nervous he would get loud!

So here we are hanging out together outside! Luckily it was a beautiful day in West Virginia.

Of course we had to do the Money Dance and dance with the groom! :) I had thought about letting Christopher dance with Michelle, but didn't want to run the risk of spit up on her wedding dress!

Christopher passed out while we were there so mom took him.  Look at that sleepy arm! And there is the father of the groom- It was a wonderful wedding, Anthony!

And lastly, Matt had to take Christopher on the moving walkway. I am sure he loved it! :)

It was definitely a super busy traveling weekend, but it was well worth it! Christopher will be attending his second wedding this weekend coming up in Nashville... so another traveling weekend with a night in a hotel.

Pics of the Week

So Christopher has a new toy. It is actually very cool- nice and soft and has a handle that he can hold on to.  In this case the handle is the giraffe's neck. Christopher likes to suck on the giraffe's nose! We went to California Dreaming for lunch on Saturday and it kept him quite entertained.  Our server had a baby in May so he was all googoo over Christopher. As we were leaving another MALE server (I emphasize male because this was not a typical male comment) came over and said "He has to be the cutest baby in the world." awwww. duh.

Cutest picture ever? Christopher was so smiley at Eddie! I now work out with Eddie at the house. It is so convenient! I have our workout equipment set up in the basement, but it was so beautiful on Saturday we worked out outside. For those of you who don't know, Eddie is the one who convinced me I was pregnant with Christopher. I couldn't figure out why some of my strength was gone at the gym and he kept saying I was pregnant... What do ya know?!?!?

Here is the giraffe!! He has a great grip on it.  And do you see what Christopher is sucking on? That's like his blankie. But thankfully it is one of those cheap burp cloths from Target that you get like 5 to a pack.  In fact, I think they are cloth diapers that everyone told me to get.  I think this is the perfect blankie- How easily replaced! Isn't the giraffe cute? I also got him the elephant (which has a great nose to suck on) and the monkey.

Here is my classroom. I went with the "less is best" idea this year. I am so over sticking up posters just to make the room look decorated... and then taking them down to put up the charts we make together. So this year- I left it bare and we will decorate as a class. Way more fun. Christopher and mom came up to school to help me do the balloons. They were for Sneak a Peek. Just another Pinterest idea.

One of my friends gave Christopher a little Yankees hat.  He looked so cute in it! I can make it really small so that it fits on his head perfectly!

I know everyone misses Stroonz- so here he is. He is so bad. (and yes I know that looks like a lot of soda but we were having guests for a few days!)

He looks like such a little man here! I kept telling Matt that Christopher had plenty of clothes, but he insisted that we get this outfit- and he does really look cute in it!

When everyone was here, we added thumbprints to his piggy bank! Here is Cousin Kate putting hers on.  This is also the first day that I went back to work.  It wasn't the best day for Christopher.  Apparently he was really fussy and wouldn't take a good nap.  He seemed fine when I got home. He must have missed his mommy. :)

Christopher and his crinkle toy- He loves this! It keeps him occupied for awhile! This is from when Christopher decided to wake up at 7 and see me off for work! He took a 3 hour nap that day. I told him just to sleep in a little later for Nana, but nope!

Here he is with his Great Grandpap! Christopher LOVED the sound of Pap's voice. He would get so excited and smile at him! It was so cute :) Pap and Aunt Nancy called on Facetime last night and as it was ringing Christopher was getting fussy for dinner, and once Pap came on he started talking and laughing. It was precious.

Christopher always take a little cat nap around 7:30. So sweet.

I have been back to work for a week. Mom and Christopher have a great schedule.  He wakes up at 8... eats at 8:15 plays til 9:30 sleeps til noon.... eats some more.. plays.. naps... and then I get home! I am sure Christopher is going to miss his Nana when she leaves! Christopher has one more week with her and then he goes to daycare on the 20th. We dropped off all of his stuff on Friday since we are out of town next weekend. It was so sad. I got a little teary eyed, but I know he will be in good hands and will love all the interaction with the other little kids!

Christopher is attending his first wedding this weekend.. and taking his first airplane ride. Matt and I prefer to fly everywhere so hopefully it goes smoothly so we can continue that! He has a little seersucker overall outift to wear to the wedding. I will take lots of pics! I am at work with kiddos this week so unless mom or Matt update.. it may be til next Sunday until I blog again! Everyone have a great Sunday! :)
