Disney Part 1

I titled this post Disney Part 1 because my pictures that I got are nowhere near as great as Matt's pics so those will be coming in another blog post. We had a blast there this time. Christopher was a rambunxious 2 year old to say the least, full of excitement. I do think he might be a homebody though. Matt blames me for that. Every now and then he would ask if we could go home so he could play in his playroom. When we left on Monday, that was all he could talk about. Then, we get like 30 minutes from home and he asks if we can go back to Disney. *sigh*
I am just going to post all the pics I have and tell the story.

I am going to try this the next time we are going through and airport as well. :) He was wheeling his Dusty suitcase telling everyone he was going to Disney.
People would tell him "You made it, buddy!" (Thankfully he didn't say- My name is Christopher! which is his favorite comment to people who call him Chris, buddy, etc.)

Pretending to sleep. He wanted to eat his breakfast in his stroller. Nana bought him a new pair of Mickey jammies to wear, like he didn't have enough already.

Playing in the Lion King area. They had the elephant graveyard and Christopher was running through so fast one time... and BAM... smacked right into a bone into his forehead. Matt said he fell straight down on his back. I am glad I wasn't there because I probably would have laughed out loud.

We met Mickey at Town Square. This Mickey talks. He asked Christopher to march like an elephant. He told Mickey he was sorry but he couldn't march like an elephant. He had his head down like he was so disappointed in himself.
Our family shot. I think this one is a framer. I love that Mickey and Christopher were holding hands.

The carousel was Christopher's favorite ride at Disney. It was also the first ride we went on at Magic Kingdom but when we came back at nighttime we went on it again. I think he loved the fact that he could have his own horse.

They have awesome little play areas....  a parent's dream. Christopher conked out 5 minutes after this play area. Another parent's dream.

Staring at Woody and Jessie as they came walking up.

Christopher really had no interest in meeting the characters one on one- except for Mickey. He wanted Matt there everytime.

Ms. Disneyworld (aka Stacy) let us borrow these magical, light up ears!

My favorite part of the electrical parade! A tribute to the USA!

Passed out at the end of day one.

And that is it from Day 1 of Magic Kingdom.... On to Hollywood Studios.

We played for a long time at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area... which to me was a complete nightmare. It is very hard to keep your eye on your child in this thing. Thankfully we are both capable enough to climb and do everything that Christopher wanted to do so that we could be with him. There are so many curves and caves and hiding spots in this thing... but he loved it!

We went and saw the Disney Junior Live Puppet Show... Christopher was in awe the whole time. It was great!

We also went to a stunt show. Lights, Motors, Action. Christopher loved that. I always know he loves something when he just stares and stares. This week at home he has been driving around his car saying that it is on fire (because there is lots of fire in this show!).

While we waited in line to meet Buzz and Woody again... they had the rocket that Buzz is strapped to in Toy Story. Christopher liked being strapped into it.

Another great family photo. While we were walking up outside, Christopher held his Buzz Lightyear toy up to the window and Buzz saw him. Christopher said "Look, Buzz! This is you! This is you!"

And that's all I have. I will go through Matt's phone and pick out his gems soon.
Be kind.
