Get Well Soon

What a week it has been. Christopher had been on antibiotics for an ear infection and we gave him day 10 of his meds on Monday. However, Monday when I picked him up from daycare, Ms. Jeanne seemed concerned because he was pressing on his ear after naptime. Once she said that it confirmed what I had told Matt the day before. I had thought he was messing with his ears alot... and he didn't want to nap on Sunday. Poor Matt had to be the bad guy and take Christopher to the doctor Tuesday morning and sure enough the amox had done nothing for his ears. He got 2 shots and a stronger antibiotic. He still went to daycare and as you can see from the pictures below- he seemed none to bothered by any of it!

I think this is Christopher accusing Ms. Jeanne of making us take him to the doctor! :)
Or maybe him just saying "mine" and pointing the camera...

On a mission right?!?!

There may be a slight bit of anger on Christopher's face in this picture. I am guessing he doesn't want his buddy to go down before him.

Mr. Mark shows the kids how to swing on their bellies! I wonder if that is what he was going to do.

And here ya go! At the doctors. But you must admit that he looks super happy at daycare so he obviously got over it quickly.

Matt was trying to get a picture of both of them frowning. I think Christopher looks super innocent here... and really blonde.

I think he knew what was happening and where he was.

This past weekend Matt went to Music Midtown Friday and Saturday so Christopher and I spent a lot of time together playing. We did head down to Uncle Anthony's though to see Joe and Lea while there were here.
This is before we went. He looks so old.

Playing with the monkey Joe gave him. It says I Love Rochester and makes the freakiest sound in the world.

Joe!

Thanks for the monkey.... I think.

Playing the guitar! Christopher got to use the pick to play. I tried to stop it because I have heard of strings snapping but they all thought I was ridiculous.

When we got home, Austin came over to play for a little bit. The boys were so good together! Patricia said Austin says mine all the time and so does Christopher so I thought it would be a little more hostile than it actually was!

Drink break!

Christopher loved sitting in the wagon.... and Austin loved pushing him!

Tunnel time!

And then Austin also came over Sunday morning to play a little more...like they don't get enough of each other at daycare. We are trying to make best friends here.
A little graham cracker and milk break.

Come on in my tent... but don't you dare take my Dino!

We got out every bucket of toys... and apparently it's fun to turn them over and dump them out. And right when I thought they were cleaning up...they would dump the buckets again!

This is how we began the morning... it was very loud. :) Thank goodness for coffee!

And here are some randoms...
Ashley and her sweet girls came over after school on Monday. It was so good to catch up... and to watch AnnaLee. I love her. She is the cutest thing and her personality just blows me away!

Can I please come in?!?! The girls said no and called him a monster! :)

This is Christopher discovering I put banana in his Cheerios. FRUIT!!! (more like FWUIT)

Swinging at daycare with mommy!

Coolest guy ever? Well... Coolest tourist ever. Even has his hand in his pocket.

I came home from an event at work and peeked through the bathroom door to see this! Sweetest face ever!

And some videos...
Sleepy baby This is the video I blogged about last week (when he fell asleep at dinner). I had problems uploading it then, but here it is now!
Getting pushed around Austin pushing Christopher in the wagon. You can hear Christopher say something like "hot potey" - that is his version of Hot Potato which is the newest song at daycare. I cannot tell you how many times a day he says that and grabs a phone for us to YouTube The Wiggles.

And that's been the last week! Granddaddy comes in town next Thursday for a few days and we are going on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway again! I hope Christopher likes it as much as he did the first time.
