Night in Nashville

I'm not sure what child woke up in Christopher's bed yesterday, but it was surely not the little boy we are used to. This little boy had to go to timeout and argued about everything. Needless to say, when he woke up from his nap in the car and was gone and the real Christopher was back, we were overjoyed.  All morning I kept thinking "How in the world is he going to make it at the game tonight that STARTS at bedtime?!?"  But he lasted and we had a great time!

Enjoy the pictures and stories!

Keeping himself amused with his cars and "roads" while waiting for our room. We turned our little seating area in to quite the play area since we had to wait for an hour for our room.

Cheesing with Uncle! And apparently eating something as well... When we left this morning Christopher wouldn't kiss Anthony goodbye- He kept saying "ku-ku" which is what he says when something is gross. This time it was meaning he didn't want to go near that bearded face. After letting him "pet it" and see that it was only hair... he finally kissed Uncle goodbye, but of course not without saying "ku-ku, uncle hair in my mouth!"

Let's Go Pens! Christopher always has so much fun with Daddy and Uncle!

Anthony had his watch box and it fit Christopher's Thomas train perfectly...
Would you please be my son forever?

Watching the game with Uncle! Much better attention span during a hockey game! So much action- not a whole lot of fighting though, but certainly some checking into the boards- What's that sound?!?! That was his reaction.

Walking to eat before the game.

We sat right next to "the claw" game at the restaurant. Christopher was a lucky winner the first time and got a pink pig... and then he won again later and he somehow got 2 stuffed animals stuck together! I was like "how am I going to fit all this into his Cars bag with all the other toys/clothes/snacks I already have in there?" Well, that's when you teach a lesson on giving. These two little girls played the game a couple times and never won. Christopher kept the pig and took the other two to them for them to have. He went to their table all by himself and gave them their new stuffed animals. They were so sweet and kept telling him "thank you" and wanting to hug him. He was so proud of himself and kept getting all giggly when the mom was telling him what a sweet boy he was! The parents even offered us a round of drinks... but we had a game to get to!

Kinda blurry- but LOOK MOM! THEY GAVE ME A PUCK! Anthony took Christopher down while the teams were warming up and of course, they flipped a puck right over for him! :)

Family selfie! Christopher also made it on the Jumbotron- only Pens fan to make it on! I think once they realized the cute, little fan they had the camera on was a Pens fan, they moved it to Preds fans. When we got into our elevator later at the hotel, a guy said- I remember you from the Jumbotron! Famous! :)

Here we go! I love the hand in the air!

Before we went (and in between being a butt) Christopher got to practice a little football with Eddie and daddy. Don't you love his little warm up outfit- courtesy of Granddaddy from the ND game last weekend. I wish I had video of him kicking because he would stand out there and do like a little jumping dance like he was psyching himself up and then run and "kick" it. You can kinda tell in the bottom left pic.

We picked up Nico from school one day. Christopher was so excited to see him when I went to pick him up. We went and got cupcakes for a fun after school treat.

Oh- just a little morning studying with The Baseball Book and a banana.

What a fun family weekend! Next time we go to Nashville though, I am thinking Christopher will be staying behind at Nana and Granddaddy's...
Have a great week!
Be kind.
