Happy 9 Months!

So I am a few days late for this post... But I have lots of pictures! :) Like this one...

Here is the 9 month picture! I really wanted one of him in a hat so I dressed him in blue and grey and threw on his Yankees hat. Perfect. He does have a Braves infant hat too, plus a Braves bat and ball so we have lots of props for the next picture! On Christopher's actual birthday- the 17th- he was wearing a baseball outfit so that we could take his picture that night when he got home... but he spit up on his outfit throwing a wrench in our plans, so we took his picture yesterday.

The night of his birthday Matt let Christopher attempt to climb the stairs. Matt showed him what to do with the first step and up he went.  We were able to FaceTime with mom and dad so they witnessed his first climbing of the stairs! By the 15th step, he had to pause. You could tell he was so tired, but he had to finish the last three. Then, when people wanted to see Friday and Saturday, he wouldn't perform! Matt and I think maybe his shoulders and glutes were sore from his workout on Thursday night... Thankfully he climbed the whole thing again this morning (for my mom and dad again) so his muscles must feel okay now.

I had to pick up Cammy and Brandon (Christopher's cousins) Friday after school for a bit so Christopher got to spend some time visiting with his cousins. He LOVES Brandon. It is so cute.
He was climbing all over him. This is just one of the 5 shots I got of them playing!

He was showing off all of his skills (and toys) to Brandon and Cammy!

This weekend we needed to try Christopher on some more finger foods because he seems to be getting bored with some of his baby food- especially the veggies. We got chicken, green beans, bananas, and pancakes.

This is what we got from the first bite of chicken. He ate a few pieces but was much happier when I gave him his chicken and apples baby food. He had the green beans for lunch and he did well with those, the ones that made it in his mouth anyway. Bananas were by far the easiest for him. He loves bananas. Tonight we are going to try sweet potatoes and chicken (again). Practice makes perfect! :)

Look how much he has grown from this picture. This was the night we gave him rice cereal for the first time!  The look of disgust was very similar...

GROSS.

When I picked Christopher up from daycare this week... he CRIED. Like literally, cried. I think if he could have thrown himself on the floor and had a hissy fit, he would have. It happened three days this week. He really loves being there!

This is what I walked into on Monday. It was adorable. The older kids (age like 1 and a half and 2) were sitting at the table reading books and Christopher was standing next to Ms. Jeanne, hand on shoulder. It was adorable. I had to snap a picture. Hopefully Ms. Jeanne doesn't kill me for posting this picture on the blog! :)

And now... the rest of the random picture I took this week!
This is Christopher discovering that his sippy cup rolls. He would roll it... crawl to it.. and roll it again.

I let him in one cabinet. I figure the plastic containers are okay for him to play with. Plus, it takes him a while to get them all out and enjoy them all so making dinner is a snap!

Face-plant! Christopher was trying to crawl away from Matt- not happening.

Christopher and I were just waiting for Matt to bring us his nighttime bottle! :)

Do you remember this blog post- Roly Poly? Well, it is still like that... every night, every diaper change....EXCEPT this one night. Not sure why but Christopher was just laying there... so calm. so we had to snag a picture! Maybe he was just so relaxed from his bath... Who knows. But it was by far the easiest diapering and pajama-ing in a long time!

Every Saturday when Christopher wakes up from his morning nap we go to Miss L's for lunch! This is right before we left. I wasn't sure if he would wear his hat for long, but he wore it the whole way there.. and the whole time we were eating!

And an instagrammed picture- cuz they are so much cuter than the regular ones.

We are officially heading to Virginia Beach on Valentine's Day- we bought our tickets this week! 5 whole days!!! We will get to be there most of Valentine's Day, Friday to visit Nana and Granddaddy's school so everyone can meet him, Satruday we are driving to Richmond to see Katie and meet her little one (that isn't here yet), all day Sunday and back home Monday! That will be a fun little trip. Thank you furlough days!! :)

Have a great week!! :)
